MAKEMO – The Lost Paradise Beach Hoe
Just 1h30 flight from Tahiti, on a 12-hectare private estate located along a sumptuous lagoon-side white sand beach. Come and enjoy an immersive experience close to the inhabitants of Makemo Atoll, also known as the Atoll of Perfection!
The property has a total of 10 bungalows. You'll stay on a half-board basis in one of the 4 beach-side units. Your host will meet you at the airport in the traditional Polynesian way. Airport transfer to the bungalow is offered to all travelers.
Your bungalow has a bedroom with a double bed and a private shower room with WC and hot water (solar). For your comfort, a mosquito net will protect you from our insect friends.
You'll enjoy direct access to the beach and lagoon from your bungalow. Kayaks, paddleboards, small fishing gear, snorkeling equipment and bicycles are at your disposal to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Take a kayak or snorkel out to discover the sea's treasures, as a multitude of tropical fish nest in the magnificent coral spats, or try your hand at shore fishing... Makemo is renowned for its extraordinary marine riches!
Half-board includes: continental breakfast and 3-course island-style dinner. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions, and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
A lounge area with TV is available to travelers, as is a bar where you can order drinks (not included). The restaurant will welcome you for your meals. For lunches that are not included, you can order snacks from your host and pay an extra charge before you leave. A washing machine is also available free of charge.

- Bring your own reef shoes, mosquito repellent, UV protection and sunglasses.
- There's no internet connection! Take this opportunity to disconnect and take some quality time for yourself, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Makemo, the third-largest atoll in the Tuamotus, stretches over 65 km from northwest to southeast, with a width of between 5 and 8 km. Located 500 km east of Tahiti, the island is gradually emerging from its mysterious past thanks to tourism.
Boasting natural gems such as exceptional seabeds, preserved motus, the peaceful village of Pouheva, and the enigmatic ghost village of Punaruku, Makemo offers a diversity of unique experiences. Makemo's inhabitants, who make their living from fishing, copra and pearl farming, have seen the atoll evolve into a commercial and administrative hub within an 11-atoll commune.
